In Vedic astrology Sakata yoga forms when Moon is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th from the Jupiter.
Sakatam means a wheel which has to keep rolling. So a person with sakata yoga in his horoscope has to keep moving from one place to another for some work or the other.
                                                 
Normally people like to be stable and working at the same city or town where they reside
Sakata yoga does not allow this.

So the person with sakata yoga in his horoscope has to plan his life in such away that his personal life and official duties do not clash with each other. The simplest way of doing this is to select a central city with many suburban areas where the work is spread out.  Keep his family head quartered at the main city and himself travel to work as and when required.

Such jobs can be that of a travelling agent, travelling salesman, medical representative, railway Guards, drivers and other line staff etc

As per Indian astrology Sakata yoga does not bar other Raja yogas in the horoscope.

In Vedic astrology just as debility of planets get cancelled under certain conditions so also Sakata yoga gets cancelled under the following conditions:

1. The sakata yoga Moon happens to be in a quadrant from the ascendant

1. When  Sakata yoga Moon is in the star of Jupiter

1. The sakata yoga Moon and Jupiter are placed in the same Navamsa

1. If either of them is exalted in Rasi chart and the other one is exalted in the Navamsa chart.
